Daniel C. Thumm has been an Environmental Technician with Porter Consulting Engineers, P.C. for more than five years. Dan's responsibilities include the performance of environmental site assessments, wetland identification and delineation, engineering surveys and site mapping, wastewater treatment design, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan preparation, soil and water sampling, as well as construction inspections. Dan is also proficient in the use of computers and computer software applications, and he maintains and monitors various client database information including waste hauling and transportation data, groundwater monitoring data, etc. Additionally, Dan performs project related Quality Assurance/Quality Control inspections and record keeping. Dan's educational background in biology and for environmental sciences along with his knowledge and experience with industrial, commercial and land development needs, is beneficial to the efficient development and completion of project designs.
