 
President - Senior Engineer/Project Manager
L. Ashley Porter, P.E. is President of Porter
Consulting Engineers, P.C. and has in excess of 25 years of experience in
the engineering field. Mr. Porter has extensive experience on a wide range
of engineering projects and has a thorough knowledge of civil and
environmental engineering as well as surveying methodologies and procedures.
Prior to founding PCE Consulting Engineers in 1997 and subsequently
incorporating the firm as Porter Consulting Engineers, P.C. in 2000, Mr.
Porter was employed for more than eighteen years in various technical and
managerial positions with a small consulting civil and environmental
engineering firm located in northwestern Pennsylvania. During this time
period, Mr. Porter attended evening classes at Youngstown State University
and earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree and Master of Science degree
in Civil Engineering, as well as his registration as a Professional Engineer
in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Porter is also a registered
Professional Engineer in New York and Ohio.
L. Ashley Porter, P.E. is responsible for the overall management and
supervision of the services provided by PCE. His responsibilities also
include detailed project design engineering; project submittals, including
permit applications and approval requests; specification preparation;
project management, construction and operations management; and project data
acquisition and interpretation. Mr. Porter's engineering knowledge and
personal dedication to the successful outcome of each project has
contributed to Porter Consulting Engineer's growth and recognition as a
prominent engineering firm within northwestern Pennsylvania.
